Grandma came over a couple weeks before before Christmas. Then, Grandpa and Grammy came over right before Christmas. Right after that, Jodi came over until right Christmas. Then Jeremy came over for Christmas day and the following weekend.
The big kids got fully three rounds of Christmas celebrations in there, with way too many presents and toys. Grammy brought gingerbread house kits which was lots of fun, and tasty, too. Grandpa had a great time reuniting with the kids. He also helped me (Nathan) out with learning how to give Jasmin her insulin shots. When Jodi was here, she made us a wonderful crab feast. By the time Jeremy was here, we mostly took it easy, but we did go for a hike through the Oso Flaco dunes the day after Christmas.
It was great fun all around. Since we didn't drive anywhere, we really do appreciate all of the visitors. (and the kids loved all the presents! :)
